Terms of Service

Last updated: February 24, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DashSec ("the Service"), operated by DashSec ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DashSec provides AI-powered automated penetration testing services for web applications and APIs. The Service includes a distributed agent that runs security tests against targets you designate and generates professional reports detailing confirmed vulnerabilities.

3. Eligibility and Authorized Use

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or your organization. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have explicit written authorization to test any target you submit to DashSec.
  • You will not use DashSec to test systems you do not own or have authorization to test.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws, including computer fraud and abuse laws in your jurisdiction.

Unauthorized testing of third-party systems using DashSec is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your account and referral to law enforcement.

4. Account and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Pilot Program

During the pilot program, the Service is provided on a month-to-month basis at the stated price. We reserve the right to modify pricing for new subscribers at any time. Existing pilot participants will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect on their account. You may cancel at any time with no further obligation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to test any system without proper authorization.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product.
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

7. Data and Confidentiality

Test results, reports, and any vulnerability data discovered during testing are treated as confidential and belong to you. We will not share your test results with third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will identify all vulnerabilities in your systems.
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Test results will be complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular compliance requirement.

DashSec is a security testing tool, not a guarantee of security. The absence of findings in a DashSec report does not mean a system is free of vulnerabilities.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DashSec and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DashSec from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including running tests against systems without proper authorization.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

You agree to comply with all applicable local laws in your jurisdiction regarding the use of penetration testing tools and security testing services.
